The Extended Project Qualification

In addition to A level qualifications, all students undertake an EPQ qualification. This qualification allows students to get to grips with University style research and writing. Students complete their EPQ on a subject of their own choice – so it’s the ideal opportunity to explore a theme related to where you want to go in life. Many Russell group Universities use successful completion of an EPQ as part of their student selection.

Students have one taught EPQ lesson per week where you will learn the skills and techniques required to complete an EPQ and your EPQ teacher also acts as the supervisors to your individual project, providing advice and guidance throughout the journey of completing the EPQ.

2 of 2. From Monday the rule of 6 means any students travelling by car can’t have more than 6 people in the car at any time (unless all from the same household). It also means any students walking with friends at the start or end of the day must not be in groups of more than 6.

1 of 2. What does the new rule of 6 mean for us. Firstly on campus it means no changes - we continue to follow the government guidance on running COVID secure schools and colleges - the rule of 6 does not apply to class sizes etc.
