I cannot find a deadline for applications. Is there a deadline?

We are asking all students to apply before the 31st December 2022 in order to guarantee access to all course choices.

I cannot upload my proof of residency document?

Please ensure you are not using Snapchat or Whatsapp pictures. Please make sure the file you are about to upload has none of the following characters in the file name (\/&*,). Your file will not be uploaded, and you will get an error.

Which email address should I use for my application?

Please use an email address which you will be able to access for the whole of the enrolment process. This is the only way we communicate with applicants. Please do not use a current school one as they close before you start at your new education provider.

I need to change my details as I have moved house/changed telephone numbers / changed email address etc?

Please inform the college via email to enrolment@dixons6a.com quoting your full name, and date of birth.

How will I know when my interview is? If I miss my interview call, will I be given another interview?

We will email you with an invite to your interview, which takes place over the phone. We will only reschedule this interview if you let us know via email enrolment@dixons6a.com that you still wish to be interviewed for a place to study at Dixons Sixth Form.

I have submitted my application but now I want to change my course choices, although I haven’t been interviewed yet?

Choices can be discussed and changed at your interview. If you decide after your interview you wish to change, we will discuss this again at enrolment, after you have received your GCSE results on 24 August 2023.

I am a student who is not currently in Year 11, but still wish to apply to Dixons Sixth Form. Will I be accepted?

As we are an oversubscribed college, we cannot guarantee a place to students who are not currently in Year 11.

What if I don’t have contact details for two parent / carers?

Please provide details of two guardian, carers or responsible adults who college can contact and discuss your progress, attendance and/or contact in the event of an emergency.

Do I have to attend the interview / new student days / enrolment days ?

Yes, to secure your provisional place, and your confirmed place, to study at Dixons Sixth Form, all days must be attended.
