Our courses

Our Advanced level courses form the core of a students’ overall study experience at Dixons Sixth Form Academy. This is how they fit into the overall student study programme. Most students take three Advanced level courses and an EPQ, in addition each week students will take part in one lunch and lecture with their tutor group, and a tutorial session. Each week students are involved in at least one enrichment (chosen from our wide range of choices). At the start of each day in the Sixth Form students are engaged in a short staff-led briefing period.

We offer 30 Advanced level courses, all taught by specialised teaching staff in new purpose-built accommodation. Please click on the subject to go to the course information document.

1 of 2. What does the new rule of 6 mean for us. Firstly on campus it means no changes - we continue to follow the government guidance on running COVID secure schools and colleges - the rule of 6 does not apply to class sizes etc.
